REVIEW BREAK: First Look at Longchamp’s Spring 2013 “You Should Be Dancing” Campaign

As part of Vogue’s Influencer Network, I get fresh updates that are not yet available to the public and that’s actually very  interesting and I am privileged to be part of this network.  Admittedly, I am not a big fan of Longchamp but I love Coco Rocha, she’s one of my most favorite models.

The new Longchamp Spring Campaign “You Should Be Dancing” will get you moving! Longchamp is back with Coco Rocha doing her kickass moves at the JFK airport.  The old TWA Terminal’s minimalistic design reflects the architectural theme of the new collection and the season’s star bags: Longchamp 3D, Gatsby Sport and LM Cuir.

Coco Rocha is set in scene as the glamorous, cosmopolitan traveler running to catch her plane, grabbing her bag from the luggage carousel, and passing through security. The good news?  Here’s an exclusive preview video before its official world debut!  Talk about VIP access eh?

My Current Beauty Inspiration: Gucci Fall 2012

I know Fall 2012 season has been long gone, but I find myself going back to my past year’s magazines and can’t get over how much I am liking the whole beauty trend over at Gucci.  I’ve listed several items on my must buy list and here are the beauty looks that inspire me right now:

I have to say I love the bare eyes-bold lips look, and loving the whole mulberry lip stains.  I hope I can find the right shade and will be testing this beauty look soon.  Stay tuned!

REVIEW BREAK: Adoring Duro Olowu’s Collection for JCPenney

Duro Olowu for JCPenney

For those of you who are not yet in the know, Duro Olowu is a Nigerian fashion designer based in London.  He has taken to the UK with him the adorable African prints (which I totally love) and it was in 2005 when American Vogue editor Sally Singer noticed his boho dress known as the “Duro”.  And as they say, the rest is history.

The DURO Dress

Now, fast forward to 2013- and this amazing designer is collaborating with JCPenney for a must-look-forward-to collection.  I think it is a great move for JCPenney to feature him and a good opportunity for Olowu to be known.  The collection will include women’s fashion, as well as home decors.  And items range from $10 to $100.  Here are some of my favorite looks from the collection:

“My job is not dictating to women what they should wear, it is about presenting them with beautiful options.”
